but...I reprinted, (had to change paper because I had used up all my cool paper) and took it back and got the book bound. Spiral binding isn't horribly acurate, but I think it gives a good handmade feel, which is what I want, esspecially for a cook-book. If anyones still going to bind their book, give it to the person doing it a couple sheets at a time eactly positioned, then its harder for them to mess it up and cost you a lot of money in reprinting.

this sucks
All right, I spent 11 hours thursday creating and printing my book, looked great. I almost ran out of ink. Then I took it to three different places trying to get it spiral bond. They all had broken machines or wierd standards. Finaly I found a place and I watched them screw all of it up. So I had to buy 5 more ink cartridges and I'm out of some of my paper, so I'm making modifications now, and have to drive around again tomorrow after an 11 hour shift. At least they are going to bind my stuff for me for free...

finale
All right, I have a bit of paper, but not enough for all 9 by 9 pages. Thanks, those measurements are hard to work with. My client hasn't gotten back to me on the work I've done, but that's good. I'm a little scared. My design is more solid then ever before, but I keep screwing up my boards cutting, (slightly), I just can't be totally perfect. My only advice if you read this is to start now! Start 3 weeks ago, I'm noticing mistakes and fixing them, my portfolio will be as pristine as humanly possible. Each work a piece of art you want to hang up. I hope...I care about this alot, if I don't make it this time, well...fine arts, but, well...you are all really good. I enjoy my professors and fellow students. There is no finer graphic studio in the south-east. (that I can afford)
